I spent all day yesterday crying and moping around the house wishing I had something to do. So today I got the energy to get out of the house and do routine shopping for payday. Plus I needed some things for my trip to Utah. Of course it was not easy knowing that once I got home and Shaina and Hannah left I would be there all alone with my thoughts and sleeping baby.
While out shopping today Hannah and I discovered this Christian bookstore that had a few books worth buying to help me through all of the pain of Garrett leaving for so often and as long as his training have been. So I decided to buy a few books (yes dear mommy in love I bought one for you as well). I am going to keep checking in and seeing everything that they have that I can read to help me keep going, so there is my inspiration for the year!
I have officially started redecorating Addi's bedroom. I'm keeping it on the cheap side, so it's been little wall stickers I've found at the dollar store and such things. I am going to start getting shelves to go in each of our rooms! Before I know it this place will be full and I will be wishing I was in a bigger place to keep me busy longer! Well I need to get some sleep so Goodnight all!
Awe- we will keep yall in prayer!
ReplyDeleteToo bad you are not closer to your Mom-in-love!
Maybe while you spend time reading & the Lord will draw you closer! Along with finding comfort while you await your sweet hubby to come home!
Blessings~
Lori for all
Ooooo, I can't wait to see what books you got!
ReplyDeleteI like to look at the time John is gone is incriments. Instead of days (long drawn out endless days) I look at them in quarters. So maybe you can count fridays till Garrett comes home. That would be only a few more to go :-) More inspiration :-)

Hayley,
ReplyDeleteI read your blog but don't comment..one of "those" people who lurks silently.
I have been praying for you and Addison. And Garrett. Would love to know how you are doing!
Did you finish Addison's room? Did you ever read the book you found at the store? How was your trip to Utah?
Would love an update so I can know how to pray for you!
Love the pictures of your family at the top of the blog!!!
Christine
(I follow your mom-in-love's blog and that is how I found you...back in June or July...can't remember!)
