I have become obsessed with the word coupon! Hahahaha, I know quite funny! It is so worth spending the hour it takes to clip coupons out of the Sunday paper when you go to check out at the grocery store and you spend $30 on $100 worth of food!
My day started super early today. I got up around 7:15 got dressed and did my hair and make-up, while I had my usual morning cup of coffee! Then I woke up Addi, changed her wet bottom, dressed her and fed her. We were off by 8:00 a.m. to my friend Hannah's house. Around 8:30 we all loaded up into her little station wagon and were off to the WIC office! Once we got there I spent close to an hour and a half signing all kinds of papers to be on California WIC. So much more complex then Washington WIC in WA I walked in handed off ID card, and Garrett;s LES and off I went with my checks. Not in the state of California no, I had to wait while they accessed my old Client # from WA, checked both my military ID and Driver's License, looked at Garrett's LES, and then asked for a bill for proof of residency. What a pain in the neck! Then I had to sit through at least a 30 minute video on how to use my WIC checks and what to look for in the store. I kept thinking to myself come on I'm not stupid I know how to read and it all comes with a pamplet!
Finally we were all set with our checks and I also got $20 worth of coupons for the Farmer's Market that goes on in the Court House parking lot every Saturday! Hannah and I came back to my house I made a yummy biscuits and gravy breakfast, then off we went to the grocery store! I used up a bunch of coupons clipped from the Sunday paper, and 2 of my WIC checks. Then we went along to Babies-R-Us. I was given $20 worth of Similac checks from the Similac website so I got stuff to take on the plane coming up in August, and the drive back so I am not trying to portion out formula while we are on the road. I paid a whole woppign $2 for a 16 pack of portioned out formula and little 6 8 ounce bottles hooray.

While we were at Babies-R-Us I discovered that they had name Binki's OMG! I had to buy one that says Addison! Garrett thinks that I am so crazy but I love it.
Once we got back to the apartment complex I got to go shopping in Hannah's cupboards since she is moving home while her husband is driving truck for the next 3 months non stop. I feel so blessed to have gotten all these groceries for soooo little.

Made a fantastic meatloaf for dinner and now Addi is having her little dinner and off to bed for us both! Goodnight all!
